With the new Epson printers the page yield is hard wired into the printer itself. This means the electronics on the cartridge you will only ever get the Epson recommended page yield.
In order to get the most out of these cartridges you will require a chip resetter and follow these instructions:
1. When printer says the cartridge is empty, remove the whole cartridge from your machine
2. Check the ink tank and make sure there is plenty of ink left
3. Reset the chip using a chip resetter.
4. Replace the ink tank into the shell and reinstall the cartridge into the machine
