Canon Chip resetter is useful when using Canon PGI-5BK and the entire CLI-8 range. They MUST be used if you wish to refill your epson compatible cartridges. They can also be used to maximise the use of the cartridge. WHICH magazine highlighted the fact that when the ink level registers as zero, there can be as much as 50%-60%of ink left in the cartridge.
